Some consider the brown to be old-fashioned and boring, associating it with elder generations. In my opinion, brown is a very versatile color and can bring fresh and timeless look. All depends on the clothing cut and how it is combined. Especially, the suit, is a very nice way to do so.
For me one of the greatest finds this winter was an ulster coat.
There are different opinions if you should or should not wear white / light pants in autumn / winter season. Me personally, I am in favor to wear them all year round and would strongly encourage to do so.
If anyone would ask me, which type of garment gets the most of its wear this fall, clearly the turtleneck would be my winner.
With today’s post I decided to put together some combination of none standard colors, bordeaux and light grey.
This summer I discovered an overshirt, which, in my opinion, is an excellent layering option for this time of the year. It is also very versatile as can be worn in various combinations.
Recently I have been visiting a beautiful city of Milan. Great city! I was amazed by the amount of style and fashion of the streets and was very excited to visit the flag stores of my favorite brands.
When thinking about the pinstripe suit, what comes to your mind? Often, probably, it is associated with alpha male bankers who are trying too hard from the 80s’ :). However, in the last years the image of the pinstripe suits changed
Hello folks,
In whatever I do I always encourage myself to try out new things and to step out of my comfort zone. Same with style. While I try to stick to classic colors and combinations, from time to time it is good to try something new. Plus during summer I am in the mood to wear some colors. That is why I decided to go with this wine red suit.
While it might be not for everyone, I really like this particular color. The wine red is still within acceptable color palette for me and is something different from regular blues, greys or browns.
The suit itself is from light breathable cotton and linen mix, fully unstructured and with patch pockets, which makes it to a perfect casual summer suit.
This kind of a suit is quite a statement, so it is important to keep the rest simple and subtle. I decided to pair it with this striped shirt, which, in my opinion, underlines the casual nature of the suit and gives really nice transition with blue and dark red stripes. I initially wanted to pair it with the simple white shirt but then the contrast to the suit was too much for me. Then dark brown suede tassel slippers and white pocket square with some small blue patterns (complimenting the navy stripes of the shirt) to finish the look.
Hope you like it and this will give you the courage to try something new for yourself.
Enjoy the pictures below!
Truthfully yours,
Vlad

In my opinion, the waistcoat is one of those items of menswear that does not get enough attention these days, but definitely is something that every style enthusiast should try out. Once mastered, this classic piece can add entirely new dimension to every man’s appearance.
