Some days ago I was travelling to the mountains region close to Munich. As I arrived to my destination, the weather was a bit cloudy and chilly. It is good that I grabbed my leather jacket with me :).
The leather jacket is a true classic and every modern gentleman should have at least one in his wardrobe. Also it is a true essential for the spring season. I personally prefer and like even better the suede leather jacket over the regular one. Why? I think that the suede gives a lot of sophistication and elegance, while still keeping the cool vibe. The only downside is that you need to take care of the jacket and it is not recommended to wear it while it is raining or snowing.
Also, in my opinion, the leather jacket should be as simple as possible with maybe some small details to it. This will ensure that the jacket will be in style for many years. However, you need to make sure that it is perfectly well fitted and of good quality. Remember, the good leather jacket is an investment for many years.
Having said that let’s talk about the outfit I chose for my trip. The suede leather jacket was obviously the main piece of my combination. I recently purchased this brown one from BoggiMilano and could not have waited until I could put it to use.
With my leather jacket I wanted to have a big more rugged look, thus I chose to wear cotton trousers to it (also from BoggiMilano) in kind of jeans type of look. To bring some color to the whole outfit I chose the green cotton sweater from Camicissima, which gave some color pop to the whole look. I then finished with my Blackstone boots, which were the perfect match to the whole outfit.
