Hello guys,

I hope you have a great week so far.

Last weekend we wanted to enjoy the nice spring weather and decided to drive to the beautiful Eibsee lake in Bavaria and also to visit the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen the same day. This is really a nice day trip, if you are around this area.

But, did I tell you that I do not find any excuses not to dress well πŸ˜‰ ? However, not to exaggerate, I would not wear a suit to go to the lake, of course πŸ˜€ . Instead, I wanted to wear something comfortable, but remain stylish. Especially when we planned to go to a nice lunch after the walk at the lake.

For me it is ok to wear clothing that is more comfortable as soon as it is properly tailored. First, I chose to wear those sand colored pants, which have a bit more loose fit but, at the time, are well tailored. Especially I would pay attention to the length of the trousers. If those are too long they tend to look too baggy. Then, I chose the shirt in denim look from a very soft egyptian cotton. With that I still wear a shirt (which is more elegant as, let’s say, t-shirt), and the denim look makes the outfit more relaxed. Plus the fabric is very comfortable.

Being in the mountains it tends to be a bit colder and windy in the mornings, so I also took my quilted jacket with me. I am not big fan of quilted jackets, especially those big bulky ones. This one, however, I really like and wear very proudly. It has the form of the blazer and is super comfortable and practical. It is also thin enough to be able to wear during spring.

I finished my outfit with my favorite pair of suede tassle loafers and also added a pocket square (another advantage of the jacket that it has the chest pocket πŸ™‚ )

Please let me know what you think of this combination and if you enjoy it.

Truthfully yours,

Vlad
