Less is more. Same rule applies to clothing. As for me, if I want to look good, I do not need to complicate things and will stick to the basics. It is all about the proper fit, matching (and not too many) colors and right accessories.
Sure, the more you get into the style game the more you start to learn and appreciate many other different factors and details. At the end of the day, however, those simple basics are what matters.
As an example is my todays’ outfit. Simple items combined in a proper manner and color, gave me the look, for which I got many compliments. White trousers, simple white dress shirt and nice light green pastel sweater is all I needed.
As always, I ensure that the fit is to the point. Proper length of the trousers, proper form and fit of the shirt and sweater will make the outfit look neat.
With sunny spring weather outside, nothing is more elegant as a pair of nice white trousers. The light pastel green sweater fits perfectly and gives very fresh and light vibe to the outfit. White dress shirt underneath makes the look a little more dressy and refined. Finishing with brown suede tassel loafers.
Very simple, yet elegant.
